I would have concur with Adam that it is interesting in this episode that the big speech that one normally expects in “Dragnet” came from Frank Smith rather than Joe Friday. What is also interesting in this episode, as well as the episode “The Big Juvenile Division” is the attitude of the parents of the juvenile delinquents. They are either totally oblivious or willingly ignorant of the trouble the kids are in. One thing I didn’t learn or hear in the episode is if the teen that was arrested the same one that Friday and Smith were looking for. If you recall, his Dad suggested Friday and Smith were “Section 8″for wanting to apprehend him.
