Adam, when you talked about Martin Milner still being amongst the few radio stars still alive, it reminded me of 2 more still living, even though they are both in their 90's. First is Harry Morgan who was the announcer for "Molle Mystery Theatre" which starred Peter Lorre, then the small parts he did on other radio shows, including Dragnet, before being known first as Officer Bill Gannon in the '60's Dragnet TV series and then as Colonel Sherman Potter on MASH. The other is Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes, using his given name of Myron, who was the announcer for the Green Hornet and other shows of WXYZ in Detroit. I know being a radio announcer wasn't really much work, unless you were Don Wilson on "The Jack Benny Program", but I thought he deserved to be mentioned since usually it was a live show until audio tape was put to use by most shows (transcribed was the term used)after World War 2. Love the show.
