    Hi Adam,
Just finished watching the Big Casing. A real corcker of an episode.
Another example why Jack Webb still holds up today.
    Keep up the great work.

This was my first time on your website. I really enjoyed this episode. I grew up watching the Dragnet series in the 60′s and 70′s but never viewed these earlier versions. I particularly liked the actor playing Friday’s partner and the more gritty feel of the show. Will be back again.

I only know the radio shows, and it’s fascinating to me how closely the script of this TV episode follows the radio version that was broadcast almost a year earlier, in May of 1951. Until I recently got into listening to old radio dramas, I had no idea that shows like Dragnet and Gunsmoke ran for years simultaneously on TV and radio–the difference in this case being that the Gunsmoke versions had two entirely different casts. Thanks very much for posting these shows.
